This morning, Dad and I went to Usery Park in Northeast Mesa for a little getaway since both of us had the day off work. We hiked one of the trails there (Yes, a real hike!) and looked at all the scenery and wildlife. There were lots of wildflowers because of all the rain we had this winter so it was really beautiful. The weather was perfect for this. Dad and I definitely plan on going again!

We saw a rattle snake on our way back! You can kind of see it in the middle of the picture.
